Gardens by Day, the Farm by Night
The Butchart Gardens in Brentwood Bay is the Saanich Peninsula's most famous sight: the Sunken Garden carved out of an old quarry, the Rose, Japanese and Italian gardens, and walkways that change completely with the seasons. Most visitors come out from downtown Victoria for a few hours; staying on the peninsula lets you arrive early, leave late, or go back for an evening visit without the drive.
From our property it's about 15 minutes, along quiet country roads through the farmland of North and Central Saanich.
Afterwards, you've got a whole home to come back to: separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms, a full kitchen, a patio over the fields and Pat Bay Beach two minutes' walk away.
