Our property sits in the farmland of North Saanich, at the top of the Saanich Peninsula. Mornings start with coffee on the patio looking out over open fields. Guests regularly spot deer at the edge of the property, bald eagles overhead, herons along the shore, our chickens, and the neighbours' cows grazing on the hill.

Inside, it's anything but rustic: high ceilings, large windows, brand-new kitchens and finishes, premium linens and fast WiFi. Choose the bright 2-bedroom + loft Suite, or the 4-bedroom solar-powered Smart Home for a bigger group.

The Saanich Peninsula is Victoria's countryside: farm stands, a cidery, forest trails and quiet beaches, all within a few minutes of the farm.

Downtown Victoria, the Inner Harbour and the museums are about 35 minutes south — close enough for a day in the city, far enough that you come home to quiet.

A car is the easiest way to get around the peninsula. If you're flying in, the rental car counters at Victoria Airport are 3 minutes away.

How far is the farm from downtown Victoria?

About a 35-minute drive. Sidney, Victoria Airport and the Swartz Bay ferry are all within 10 minutes.

Is there wildlife on the property?

Deer, bald eagles, herons and ducks visit regularly, along with our chickens and the neighbours' cows on the hill.

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, we can't accommodate pets. The property is also strictly no smoking and no vaping.

Is breakfast included?

No — we're a self-catering stay rather than a traditional B&B. Both rentals have a full kitchen with cooking basics, coffee and a coffee maker, and Sidney's grocery stores and cafés are about 5 minutes away.
